Happy Father’s Day to all the Fathers and Father figures who give their all for family everyday! I am so thankful for strong men like my husband, who lead our family with such love, kindness, and courage. Amongst the pressures of life, family relationships are always the priority, no matter what the cost. Thank you for fathering our children and showing them what real love looks like through the way that you live and lead our home.

Waldorf Burgers

Burgers are an absolute favorite in my home and these “Waldorf burgers” are no exception. Inspired by the famous waldorf salad; apple, walnut and creamy cheese come together to make this meal a taste sensation with a twist. Apple is not your typical burger topping but it provides the perfect fresh crunch and is beautifully balanced by the creamy goat cheese.

The Rena Ware grill pan utensils allow you to grill within your own home and cooks the burger patties evenly without drying them out.

Waldorf Burgers

You can’t beat the dynamic duo of burgers and French fries! There is no doubt you will love our version of homemade French fries because they require very little oil to fry! They are perfectly crispy on the outside while the inside remains creamy and delicious. The secret is in the utensils you use — just a couple of tablespoons of oil are enough to fry potatoes when you use your Rena Ware utensils. Using the cover, with the Nutri✓Sensor in the open position, allows the potatoes to cook evenly, and prevents condensation to form on the cover. Amazing!

Ingredients

  • 1 Granny Smith Apple, cored, and sliced

  • 1 large red onion

  • Black pepper to taste

  • 1 pound lean ground beef

  • 4 slices of uncooked bacon

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

  • Black pepper to taste

  • 4 hamburger buns

  • Iceberg Lettuce head (for lettuce low-carb burgers)

  • Condiments – ketchup, bbq, mustard

  • Avocado, sliced

  • Goat cheese spread
  • 4 oz goat cheese

  • 1 tablespoons honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped thyme

  • ¼ cups candied walnuts

Directions

  • Mix together and set aside until ready to serve.
