Italian Soup or “Pasta e Fagioli” is considered one of the many icons of Italian cuisine. Italian Soup has a privileged place on the tables of many families thanks it’s delicious flavor, enticing aroma, and pleasing texture, which make it ideal as either a soup dish or main course.

The best part of this “recipe” is that there is no single way to make it. You can make it using your favorite vegetables or add other ingredients such as rice, beans or pumpkin that can further enhance its flavor. Either way, this recipe will be a big success.

Let’s cook!

Italian soup

To cook the ground beef and pork use the Saucepan 2.5 L. Thanks to the Saucepan’s tall sides, your sauces and soups will not be over-reduced, plus you can prepare them using lower heat  to release all the flavor from the ingredients.

In the same utensil used to cook the meat, add a tablespoon of olive oil, onion, celery, carrots, and minced garlic. Mix well and stir in the previously cooked ground beef.

Next, add the tomatoes, herbs, chicken broth, salt and pepper. Stir well, and add the pasta and previously cooked beans.

Bring to a boil over medium heat and add the grated Parmesan cheese. Turn off the heat and add fresh parsley.

It’s very easy, right? Now you can serve this delicious soup with some grated cheese and toast.
