Chicken in cilantro sauce

Recipes 4 February, 2020

With this recipe, there is no need to go anywhere or to use magic to have a dish that tastes like heaven. This Chicken in cilantro sauce is so creamy that everyone in your home will love it. You just need your Large Frypan 28 cm with cover, some chicken and a few other ingredients.

Sometimes less is more. You will be amazed at how easy it is to make a meal to die for. Without further ado let’s cook.

Chicken in cilantro sauce

We first preheat our Zylstra Series Large Frypan 28 cm and add the previously seasoned chicken breasts. We love ours seasoned with salt and freshly ground pepper and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. This amount of oil is enough to fry the chicken breasts, remember not to add more! Fry them on both sides without cooking them completely, remove and set aside.

In the same utensil, add the onion, chicken broth, lemon juice, cilantro and ½ teaspoon of salt. Mix well and then add the chicken breasts back to the utensil. Cover and let cook for approximately 10 minutes.

Finally, add the plain yogurt and stir until there are no lumps, cover and cook for 5 more minutes more.

That’s all! This time we served rice and asparagus as a side dish but feel free to make as many combinations as you wish. Let us know how much you like this ultra-simple but nourishing dish.
